Long Water

5th December 2015, Queen Caroline's Temple

Painting with water on paving slabs as part of Houserules Folly (http://houserules.co.uk/folly/folly/)

Each artist had a 10 minute slot to perform, make or install their arwork. Remnants of each piece accumulated in the space until the end of the day when everything was removed.

I painted on the ground of the the folly with water collected from the lake it was built to overlook. As I did so, I negotiated the remnants of other artists' work; a t-shirt, a painting, a brick, a tripod, a stereo, some leaves spray painted black...

As the event drew to a close the water I had applied dried out and the 'landscape painting' disappeared.
